Noreen Meenan joined the Tory Island painters in the summer of 2007. She got her higher National Diploma from the north west regional college of Derry in 2008. She worked with many different medias but her recent work is mostly done in Acrylic. The use of bright colours in her work is eye-catching and she's builds up texture in some parts of her painting, she also plays about with simple ways of making parts of her work three dimensional. It shows another different approach to painting the wonderful scenic Tory island.
